About Us

We live on the Western Slope of Colorado, an amazing place of scenery and culture.  Like some of you out there, we began to link in our communications from our part of the world to the rest.  Our experience started with in-house computers on dialup modems and now extends to rather sophisticated satellite uplinks.  We went from being diehard Microsoft desktop enthusiasts with MS Server knowledge to learning Linux and Apache. Amazing!  Still when came time to do an online store,  our learning curve just began.  PHP, XHTML, Mysql and yet another blizzard of acronyms, ASP, Ajax, Tidy, Smarty, CGI, etc.  We needed a web host that could relate to our needs and help over the start-up hurdle so the search was on, and on, and on.  We did find a host, some 1,500 miles away in a totally different culture.  Their focuses were getting it up and get it done fast and move on.  There were troubles with CURL tests, PayPal accounts and the such which they seemly didn't have any answers for and the experience was it's your fault, you did something, you are on your own.  Hence, after learning how to fix our own problems, we felt it was just as easy to head out and start a service for hosting and to be able to help other people get over the technical hurdles.  So here we are: Host Western Slope!
